    From Hunter Mountain, get onto NY-23 W. Continue on NY-23 W for about 20 miles until you reach the intersection with NY-32 S. Take NY-32 S towards Kingston. After approximately 6 miles, merge onto I-587 E towards Kingston. Follow I-587 E and take the exit for US-9W S. Continue on US-9W S for about 3 miles. Turn left onto Rondout Landing and you will arrive at the Hudson River Maritime Museum, located at 50 Rondout Landing, Kingston, NY 12401.

    To reach the Hudson River Maritime Museum by public transportation, take the Trailways bus from Hunter Mountain to Kingston. The bus departs from the Hunter Mountain area and heads towards the Kingston bus terminal. The journey takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Once you arrive at the Kingston bus terminal, transfer to the Kingston Trolley (Route 1) that runs to Rondout Landing. The trolley ride will take approximately 10 minutes.
