Public Bus
From downtown Ithaca, head to the nearest bus stop on State Street. Take the Tompkins Consolidated Area Transit (TCAT) bus #30 towards Buttermilk Falls State Park. The ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the Buttermilk Falls State Park stop. From there, you will see signs directing you to the entrance of the park, which is about a 5-minute walk.

If you prefer biking, rent a bike from one of the local shops in downtown Ithaca. Head south on Cayuga Street and continue onto State Route 13. Follow the bike lane for about 3 miles until you reach the entrance to Buttermilk Falls State Park. The ride will take around 25-30 minutes, depending on your pace.
