Walking
If you are starting from the Ithaca Commons (a central hub in Ithaca), head south on North Cayuga Street. Continue straight as the street turns into East State Street. After about 0.5 miles, you will reach the intersection with College Avenue. Turn left onto College Avenue and continue for about 0.3 miles until you reach the Cornell University campus. You can enter the campus through the main entrance. Once on campus, follow the signs to the Cornell Botanic Gardens. The trailhead for Cascadilla Gorge Trail is located near the intersection of College Avenue and the Botanic Gardens. Look for the trail entrance to your left.

From the Ithaca Commons, you can take the TCAT bus number 11 towards Cornell University. Board the bus at the stop at Green Street and Cayuga Street. Stay on the bus for about 10 minutes, and get off at the stop near the Cornell Botanic Gardens. After disembarking, walk towards the Botanic Gardens, where you will find the entrance to the Cascadilla Gorge Trail near the intersection of College Avenue.
