Getting There

Walking
From downtown Ithaca, head north on Cayuga Street (NY-89) towards the intersection with Seneca Street. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with State Street. Turn left onto State Street and continue walking for about 0.3 miles. This will lead you to the bus station at the Ithaca Commons. Take the TCAT bus route 30 to the Village of Trumansburg, which departs from the bus station. Get off at the stop on Main Street in Trumansburg. From there, walk north on Main Street until it becomes County Highway 1/04. Continue walking for approximately 2 miles, following the signs for Rocky Falls. The falls will be located on your right-hand side.

Biking
If you prefer biking, rent a bike from one of the local shops in downtown Ithaca. Start on the Cayuga Waterfront Trail and head towards the north end of the lake. From the trail, you can connect to the scenic roads leading to Trumansburg. Continue on State Route 96, which will take you to County Highway 1/04. Follow County Highway 1/04 until you reach Rocky Falls. The journey is approximately 8 miles and offers beautiful views along the way.

To reach Rocky Falls using public transportation, make your way to the TCAT bus station in downtown Ithaca. Board the TCAT bus route 30 towards Trumansburg. The bus ride takes roughly 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Trumansburg, disembark at the Main Street stop. From there, walk north on Main Street until it becomes County Highway 1/04, and follow this road for about 2 miles until you reach Rocky Falls, which will be on your right.
