Walking
From the Poughkeepsie Train Station, exit the building and head east on Main Street. Continue walking for about 0.2 miles until you reach the intersection with Route 9. Cross the street at the crosswalk and follow the signs for the Walkway Over the Hudson. Walk up the ramp to the Walkway, which is a pedestrian bridge that spans the Hudson River. Once you are on the Walkway, enjoy the view and continue walking for about 1.5 miles until you reach the Beacon side of the river. After crossing, exit the Walkway and turn left onto Main Street.
