Walking

If you are starting from the Yonkers Metro-North train station, exit the station and head southwest on Main Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Warburton Avenue. Turn left onto Warburton Avenue and walk for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Broadway. Here, you can catch the #1 bus (Bee-Line) towards New York City. Ride the bus until you reach the stop at West 42nd Street and 2nd Avenue. From there, walk east on 42nd Street until you reach the intersection with 2nd Avenue. The Dag Hammarskjold Plaza Greenmarket will be on your left at East 47th Street and 2nd Avenue.
Bus

From Yonkers, head to the nearest Bee-Line bus stop. You can take the #1 bus towards the Bronx or the #5 bus towards New York City. Both buses will take you to the George Washington Bridge Bus Terminal. Once you arrive, transfer to a bus that goes to Manhattan, such as the MTA's M20 or M104. Get off at the stop at West 42nd Street and 2nd Avenue. From there, walk east on 42nd Street to the intersection with 2nd Avenue. The Dag Hammarskjold Plaza Greenmarket is located at East 47th Street and 2nd Avenue, just a short walk from there.
Train and Subway

Begin at the Yonkers Metro-North train station and take the Hudson Line train towards Grand Central Terminal. Once you arrive at Grand Central, follow the signs to the subway.
