From Yonkers, walk to the Yonkers Metro-North Railroad Station located at 1 Main St, Yonkers, NY. Once there, purchase a ticket for the Hudson Line heading towards Grand Central Terminal. Board the train and ride for approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 125th Street Station in Harlem, then transfer to the A train subway line (blue line) towards Far Rockaway. Ride the A train for about 15 minutes and get off at the 59th Street - Columbus Circle Station. From there, transfer to the D train subway line (orange line) towards Coney Island - Stillwell Av. Ride for about 30 minutes until you reach the 18th Avenue Station. From the 18th Avenue Station, exit and walk east for about 10 minutes to reach Dyker Heights.

From Yonkers, locate the nearest bus stop for the Bee-Line Bus System. Take the BxM4C express bus towards Manhattan. Ride for approximately 20-25 minutes until you reach the Westchester Ave & 1st Ave stop. From there, transfer to the B4 local bus towards 86th St & Bay 14th St. Ride for another 30 minutes and get off at 14th Avenue & 86th Street. Walk south for about 5-10 minutes to reach Dyker Heights.

Head south along the riverfront park until you reach the Yonkers Metro-North Railroad Station. From there, follow the subway instructions mentioned above.
