Getting There

  • Subway

    From Yonkers, head to the Yonkers Metro-North Train Station located at 5 Main St, Yonkers, NY 10701. Take the Hudson Line train towards Grand Central Terminal. Upon arrival at Grand Central, follow the signs to the 42nd Street subway station and take the 4 or 5 subway line towards Brooklyn. Get off at Bowling Green Station. Once you exit the station, head south on State Street towards Battery Park, where you will find the ferry terminal.

  • Bus

    From Yonkers, you can take the Bee-Line Bus #1 towards Riverdale. Get off at the Riverdale Avenue and 238th Street stop. Transfer to the Manhattan-bound MTA Bus BxM1, which will take you directly to the Battery Park area. After arriving at Battery Park, walk towards the ferry terminal to catch a ferry to Governors Island.

  • Train and Ferry

    Start your journey at the Yonkers Metro-North Train Station. Board the Hudson Line train heading to Grand Central Terminal. Once you arrive, walk to the nearby Battery Park, which is about a 15-minute walk from Grand Central.
