Getting There

  • PATH Train

    From any location in Jersey City, make your way to the nearest PATH station, such as the Journal Square PATH Station. Purchase a ticket to the World Trade Center station. Board the train and stay on until you reach the World Trade Center station. Once you exit the station, follow the signs to the Oculus and then to the 9/11 Memorial. From there, walk south along Church Street until you reach Liberty Street. Turn left and continue walking until you reach Battery Park.

    Head to the Paulus Hook Ferry Terminal located at 1st Street and the waterfront in Jersey City. Purchase a ticket for the ferry to Battery Park in Manhattan. The ferry ride is about 10 minutes. Once you arrive at Battery Park, exit the ferry terminal and you will be directly at Battery Park, where the East Coast Memorial is located.

    Find a bus stop for NJ Transit buses heading towards New York City. You can take the 119 or 126 bus that goes to the George Washington Bridge Bus Terminal. From there, walk southeast to Church Street, then head south until you reach Liberty Street. Turn left and continue walking to Battery Park.
