Fraunces Tavern: A Historic Culinary Gem in Manhattan

Getting There

• Train

  Start by walking to the Greenwich Train Station located at 2 Railroad Ave, Greenwich, CT. From there, take a Metro-North train towards Grand Central Terminal. This will take approximately 50 minutes. Once you arrive at Grand Central, follow the signs to transfer to the 4, 5, 6, 7, or S subway lines.

• Subway

  After transferring at Grand Central, take the 4 or 5 subway line downtown towards Bowling Green. Get off at the Wall Street station. From there, walk east to Pearl Street. Fraunces Tavern is located at 54 Pearl St, just a short 5-minute walk from the subway station.

• Bus

  Alternatively, you can take the Connecticut Transit Bus. Board the bus at the Greenwich Metro-North station and take the bus towards New York City. Once you reach the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan, transfer to the MTA subway system. Take the 1 subway line from 42nd Street to Rector Street, then walk about 8 minutes to reach Fraunces Tavern at 54 Pearl St.
