Train
From Yonkers Station, take the Metro-North Railroad's Hudson Line train towards Grand Central Terminal. The ride takes approximately 25 minutes. Get off at the 42nd Street - Grand Central Station. Once you exit the station, follow the signs to the 42nd Street exit. After exiting, transfer to the MTA subway. Take the S (shuttle) train towards Times Square, and get off at the Times Square-42nd Street Station. From there, walk to 7th Avenue and head south towards Central Park South. Continue walking until you reach the intersection of 7th Ave & 59th Street, where you'll find the NYC Central Park Horse Carriage Rides.

Bus
From the Yonkers Public Library, take the Bee-Line Bus #1 towards the Bronx. Ride for about 30 minutes and get off at the 242nd Street and Broadway stop. From there, transfer to the Metro-North Hudson Line at the Riverdale Station and continue to Grand Central Terminal. Once there, follow the directions for the train option from Grand Central to Central Park South as mentioned above.

Walking
If you are close to the waterfront in Yonkers, you can walk down to the Hudson River Walkway and enjoy a scenic stroll. Follow the walkway south until you reach the Yonkers train station. From there, take the Metro-North train to Grand Central Terminal, then proceed to the subway as described above.
