Subway
If you are in Yonkers, make your way to the Yonkers Metro-North station. Take the Hudson Line train towards Grand Central Terminal. After about 30 minutes, get off at the Harlem-125th Street station. From there, transfer to the 4 subway line heading downtown towards Brooklyn. Stay on the train for 11 stops until you reach the Canal Street station. Once you exit the station, walk east on Canal Street for a few minutes until you reach the intersection of Canal Street and Essex Street. Seward Park will be on your left.

Bus
Head to the nearest bus stop that services the Bee-Line Bus system. Take the BxM4C express bus towards Manhattan. After approximately 40 minutes, get off at the stop at 42nd Street and 6th Avenue. From there, transfer to the downtown R subway line at the 42nd Street-Bryant Park station. Take the R train for 5 stops until you reach Canal Street. Exit the station and walk east on Canal Street until you reach the intersection with Essex Street, where Seward Park is located.

Walking
If you are already in the downtown Yonkers area, start by heading south on S Broadway towards the Hudson River. Continue straight until you reach the Yonkers waterfront. From there, follow the waterfront path south until you reach the Yonkers train station. Here, you can catch a Metro-North train as described above. Alternatively, if you prefer to walk, you can take a total of approximately 40 minutes on foot, heading towards the nearest Metro-North station to board a train to Manhattan, then transfer to the subway as directed.
