From Yonkers, head to the Yonkers Subway Station. Take the Metro-North Railroad's Hudson Line train towards Grand Central Terminal. After approximately 25 minutes, get off at the 42nd Street – Grand Central station. Once you arrive, follow the signs to the 7 train towards Flushing. Get off at the 34th Street – Herald Square station and transfer to the N, Q, R, or W train. Board the train towards Astoria-Ditmars Blvd. After 5 stops, disembark at the 8th Street – NYU station. Exit the station and walk east on 8th Street until you reach Broadway, then turn right. Walk south on Broadway until you reach East 10th Street, then turn left. St. Mark's Church in-the-Bowery will be on your right at 131 E 10th St.

From Yonkers, you can take the Bee-Line Bus #1 towards the Bronx. Ride the bus for about 30 minutes until you reach the junction with the Metro-North train station at 120th Street. From there, transfer to the Metro-North train towards Grand Central Terminal. Upon arriving at Grand Central, exit the station and locate the 7 train towards Flushing. Ride until you reach 34th Street – Herald Square. Transfer to the N, Q, R, or W train heading towards Astoria-Ditmars Blvd. Get off at the 8th Street – NYU station. Exit the station and walk east on 8th Street until you reach Broadway. Turn right and walk south until you reach East 10th Street, then turn left. St. Mark's Church in-the-Bowery will be on your right at 131 E 10th St.

If you are already in Yonkers and prefer to walk, start at the Yonkers waterfront and head east towards Warburton Avenue. Continue south until you reach Main Street, then turn left. Walk about a mile until you reach the junction with the Metro-North Railroad station. From here, take the train to Grand Central Terminal as outlined previously. Once you arrive, use the same directions to walk to St. Mark's Church in-the-Bowery: exit the station, take the 7 train, and follow the instructions above from the 8th Street – NYU station.
