Public Bus
From Yonkers, you can take the Westchester County Bee-Line Bus #1 towards New York City. Board the bus at the Yonkers Transit Center. You will ride the bus until you reach the stop at the Port Imperial Blvd. and River Rd. intersection. From there, walk towards the Hudson River; the Weehawken Waterfront Park and Recreation Center is located just a short walk away at 1 Port Imperial Blvd.
Train and Ferry
Start at the Yonkers train station and take the Metro-North Railroad train towards Grand Central Terminal. Get off at the Hoboken Terminal. From Hoboken, head to the ferry terminal and take the NY Waterway ferry towards Weehawken. The ferry will take you directly across the Hudson River. Upon disembarking in Weehawken, walk towards Port Imperial Blvd, and you will find the Weehawken Waterfront Park and Recreation Center.
Walking
If you are staying close to the waterfront in Yonkers, you can take a pleasant walk along the Hudson River waterfront. Head towards the waterfront parks and follow the path leading north. This scenic route will lead you to the edge of the river, where you can cross over to Weehawken via the pedestrian bridge at the end of the waterfront path. Once across, make your way to Port Imperial Blvd, and the park will be nearby.
