If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Tauranga. Head east on State Highway 2. After approximately 18 kilometers, take the exit toward State Highway 29. Follow this road until you reach the junction with State Highway 2 again. Turn left onto State Highway 2, and continue for about 13 kilometers. Look for signs indicating Bowentown and follow the local roads to Seaforth Road. Once you reach Seaforth Road, continue until you find the lookout area. There is free parking available near the lookout.

Once you arrive at Bowentown, follow Seaforth Road to the lookout. Note that you may need to walk approximately 1 kilometer from the nearest bus stop to reach the lookout.
