From the Greymouth town center, start at the intersection of Mackay Street and Tainui Street. Head west on Tainui Street towards the Grey River. Continue straight until you reach the bridge over the Grey River, which is about 1.2 kilometers (approximately 15 minutes walking). Cross the bridge and follow the road as it curves left onto Richmond Quay. Continue walking along Richmond Quay for about 1 kilometer (approximately 12 minutes). The Coal River Heritage Park will be on your left side, right by the river.
