From the Greymouth Visitor Centre located at 32 Mawhera Quay, head south on Mawhera Quay towards the bridge. Cross the bridge and continue straight onto Tainui Street. Walk along Tainui Street for about 1 kilometer until you reach Pounamu Pathway - Māwhera located at 43 Tainui Street on your left.

Take the local bus service that runs through Greymouth. You can catch the bus from any of the central bus stops, such as the one on Mawhera Quay. Ensure to ask the driver to stop at Tainui Street. Once you get off, walk approximately 300 meters down Tainui Street towards the direction of the ocean. Pounamu Pathway - Māwhera will be on your right at 43 Tainui Street.
