Start from the Greymouth i-SITE Visitor Centre located at 16 Mackay Street. Head west on Mackay Street towards the intersection with Tainui Street. Turn right onto Tainui Street and continue until you reach the intersection with High Street. Cross High Street and keep walking straight onto Cobden Road. Follow Cobden Road as it curves left; you will see signs for Lions Walk. After about 1.6 km, you will arrive at the entrance to Lions Walk in Cobden, Greymouth 7802.

If you're starting from Greymouth Railway Station, exit the station and turn left onto the main road, which is the State Highway 6. Continue walking straight for about 1.2 km until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Cobden Road. After approximately 500 meters, you will see the entrance to Lions Walk on your right.
