Getting There

  • Public Transport

    Start your journey at the Hamilton Transport Centre located at 1 Anglesea Street. From there, catch the bus route 25 towards Cambridge. The bus should arrive every 30 minutes. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop at 'Tirau Road - Karapiro', which is approximately a 20-minute ride. From the bus stop, walk south on Tirau Road for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach Keeley Reserve, located at 1006 Tirau Road. The park will be on your right.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in Hamilton, such as the Hamilton Bike Hire. Start from the Hamilton City Centre and head east on Victoria Street. Continue straight until you reach the cycle path that leads to Cambridge. Follow the cycle path which eventually connects to Tirau Road. Keep cycling along Tirau Road for about 7 kilometers until you reach Keeley Reserve at 1006 Tirau Road. The ride may take approximately 30-40 minutes.

  • Walking

    If you are feeling adventurous and want to walk, start from the Hamilton City Centre and head towards the Hamilton Gardens. From the gardens, take the path towards the river and follow the riverbank north. Cross the bridge at the end of the gardens and continue along the river walkway. After about 4 kilometers, head east towards Tirau Road and continue walking for another 3 kilometers until you reach Keeley Reserve at 1006 Tirau Road. This walking route is quite scenic but will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.
