If you are traveling by car from Milford Sound, head back onto State Highway 94 (SH94) from the Milford Sound area. Drive northeast on SH94 for about 11 kilometers (approximately 15 minutes). You will pass through some stunning scenery, including waterfalls and lush rainforest. Continue until you reach the Homer Tunnel, which is an iconic landmark. Just before you reach the tunnel, you will find Homer Tunnel West on your left. Look for a small pull-off area to park and enjoy the views.
