Getting There

    If you are driving from the Milford Sound Visitor Centre, head southeast on Milford Sound Highway (State Highway 94) towards the Homer Tunnel. After about 15 minutes of driving, you will come to the Chasm Walk car park. Look for the sign indicating the Chasm Walk. Park your car here, and follow the well-marked walking track which leads directly to The Chasm Viewing Bridge, approximately a 20-minute walk from the car park.

    If using public transport, take the Milford Sound bus service from Te Anau or Queenstown. Upon arrival at Milford Sound, you will need to make your way to the Chasm Walk car park, which is about a 15-minute drive from the main drop-off point in Milford Sound.
