Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the New Plymouth CBD, head south on Devon Street towards the intersection with Huatoki Street. At this intersection, turn right onto Huatoki Street and continue until you reach the end of the street. Here, you will find a pathway leading towards the coastal walkway. Follow the coastal walkway, which runs parallel to the coastline, until you reach the intersection with Cook Street. Turn left onto Cook Street and continue until you reach the junction with Banks Street. Cook Street Reserve will be on your right at the corner of Cook Street and Banks Street.

  • Public Transport

    From the New Plymouth Transport Centre, catch the bus heading towards Marfell. You can check the local bus schedule for the most up-to-date routes. Once on the bus, ask the driver to let you know when you reach Banks Street. Get off at Banks Street and Cook Street intersection. From there, walk a short distance down Cook Street, and you will immediately find Cook Street Reserve on your left.

    If you are renting a bike, start from the New Plymouth CBD and head south on Devon Street. Turn right onto Huatoki Street and follow to the coastal walkway.
