Walking
If you're starting from the New Plymouth Visitor Information Centre, head southeast on Queen Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Liardet Street. Turn right on Liardet Street and walk for about 400 meters. You'll pass shops and cafes on your left. When you reach the roundabout, take the second exit to stay on Liardet Street, which will turn into Buller Street. Walk for another 500 meters, and you will see East End Reserve on your right.

Biking
From the New Plymouth CBD, you can rent a bike and head down to the Coastal Walkway. Start at the Coastal Walkway near the New Plymouth Coastal Marine Area. Cycle southeast along the walkway for about 2 kilometers, enjoying the ocean views. When you reach the intersection with Buller Street, turn left. Continue for around 200 meters and East End Reserve will be on your left.
