Walking
If you are starting from the New Plymouth city centre, head west on Devon Street West. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers. As you walk, you will pass various shops and cafes. When you reach the intersection with Maratahu Street, turn left. Walk for about 300 meters, and you will see the entrance to Recreation Reserve on your right, just before you reach Strandon Beach.
