Follow Koutu Loop Road for approximately 5 km until you reach the parking area for Koutu Boulders. There is no entrance fee to access the site, but parking may be limited during peak times.

To reach Koutu Boulders using public transport, catch a bus from Kaikohe to Opononi. Check the local bus schedules as they may vary. Once you arrive in Opononi, you will need to walk to Koutu Loop Road. It is about a 5 km walk from the bus stop, so be prepared for a bit of a trek. If you prefer not to walk, consider arranging a local taxi service or rideshare to take you directly to Koutu Boulders from Opononi.
