Walking
From Paihia, start at the Paihia Wharf. Head south on Marsden Road, which turns into Beach Road. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with the main road, State Highway 11. Cross the road and continue walking along the footpath on the right side towards Waitangi. Follow the footpath until you reach the Waitangi Treaty Grounds. From here, head towards Haruru Falls Road, which is located just past the Treaty Grounds. Follow Haruru Falls Road for about 2 kilometers (approximately 25-30 minutes on foot). The falls will be visible as you approach, and you can access the viewing area from the road.

Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Paihia. Start your journey at the Paihia Wharf. Cycle south along Marsden Road, which turns into Beach Road. Keep going until you reach the intersection with State Highway 11. Carefully cross the highway and continue on the footpath towards Waitangi. When you reach the Waitangi Treaty Grounds, head towards Haruru Falls Road. Cycle along Haruru Falls Road for about 2 kilometers (approximately 10-15 minutes). The falls will be on your left side, and you can park your bike in the designated area to enjoy the view.
