From Paihia, start by heading towards the Paihia Wharf. Walk along the waterfront path, enjoying the scenic views of the Bay of Islands. Continue walking along the shore until you reach the end of the path, then follow the signs to the Russell Ferry Terminal. Take the ferry to Russell; it runs regularly and takes about 15 minutes. Once you arrive in Russell, exit the ferry and walk straight ahead along the main road (The Strand). Continue walking until you reach Long Beach Road. Turn left onto Long Beach Road and follow it until you arrive at Oneroa Bay Beach, located at 32 Long Beach Road.

To reach Oneroa Bay Beach from Paihia, begin your journey at the Paihia Wharf. Purchase a ticket for the ferry to Russell. The ferry departs frequently and takes approximately 15 minutes to reach Russell. After disembarking at the Russell Ferry Terminal, head straight onto The Strand and continue walking along the main road. When you reach Long Beach Road, turn left and walk until you reach Oneroa Bay Beach at 32 Long Beach Road.
