Make sure to inform the driver that you want to get off at Five Mile Creek, which is along the Glenorchy-Queenstown Road. The bus will drop you off at a designated stop near Five Mile Creek.

If you are feeling adventurous and want to walk, start from the Queenstown Gardens. Head south towards the Frankton Track, following the path along the lake. Continue on the track until you reach the intersection with the Glenorchy-Queenstown Road. Turn left onto the road. From here, it is approximately a 10 km walk along the road to reach Five Mile Creek. Be cautious as the road can have traffic.

For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many rental shops in Queenstown. Start at the Queenstown waterfront and follow the cycle path along the lake towards Frankton. When you reach Frankton, continue onto the Glenorchy-Queenstown Road. Follow the road for about 10 km, and you will arrive at Five Mile Creek. This option will take around 30-40 minutes, depending on your cycling speed.
