Once you arrive at the Coronet Peak base area, you will need to either walk or catch a shuttle service that operates to the Skippers Road Lookout. Follow the signs to the lookout area, which is approximately a 20-minute hike uphill.

Rent a bike from one of the many bike rental shops in Queenstown. After renting a bike, head towards the Queenstown Gardens and take the bike path that leads to Frankton. From Frankton, follow the signs leading to Coronet Peak. The ride will take about 1 to 1.5 hours depending on your pace. Once you reach the Coronet Peak area, lock your bike at the base and proceed to hike the remaining distance to Skippers Road Lookout, which is about a 20-minute uphill walk.
