Getting There

• Shuttle Bus

  From central Queenstown, head to the Queenstown i-SITE Visitor Centre located at 1 Shotover Street. Here, you can purchase a ticket for the Coronet Peak shuttle bus. The shuttle bus departs regularly and will take you directly to Coronet Peak Ski Area. Make sure to check the schedule for the last return bus to ensure you don’t miss it.

• Public Bus

  You can take the local bus service, known as the Connectabus, from Queenstown to Coronet Peak. Board the bus at the bus stop on Camp Street, near the Queenstown Mall. It will take you to the Coronet Peak access road. From there, it’s a short walk (about 15-20 minutes) up the hill to the ski area. Make sure to check the bus schedule for return times.

• Bike Rental

  If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Queenstown. Head to a shop like 'Queenstown Bike Tours' on Shotover Street. Once you have your bike, take the Frankton Road towards Arrowtown. There is a shared pathway that leads towards the Coronet Peak access road. The ride is uphill and can be challenging, so be prepared with water and snacks.

• Tour Operator

  Consider booking a tour operator that includes transportation to Coronet Peak. Many companies in Queenstown offer ski packages that include shuttle services. Check with your hotel or local tourism operators for options that fit your schedule. This is a convenient way to enjoy the day without worrying about transport.
