If you're driving, start from Invercargill city center. Head south on Dee Street which becomes North Road. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with State Highway 1. Turn left onto State Highway 1 and follow it for approximately 8 kilometers. Take the exit toward Oreti Beach Road, and merge onto Oreti Beach Road. Continue straight until you reach Dunns Road. Turn left onto Dunns Road, and Fosbender Park will be on your right at 310 Dunns Road. There is no parking fee at the park.

For those using public transport, catch a bus from Invercargill city center to Oreti Beach. Check the local bus schedule for the nearest departure times. Once you arrive at the Oreti Beach stop, walk south on Dunns Road for about 15 minutes. Fosbender Park is located at 310 Dunns Road, on your right. Ensure to check the return bus timings as they may vary.

For the adventurous, cycling to Fosbender Park is a great option. Rent a bicycle from a local rental shop in Invercargill. Start your ride on Dee Street and follow the same route as driving. Cycle along North Road to State Highway 1, then exit onto Oreti Beach Road. Follow Dunns Road to reach Fosbender Park. The ride is approximately 10 kilometers and can take around 30-40 minutes depending on your cycling speed.
