Car
If you are driving from Invercargill, take State Highway 1 north for about 80 km until you reach the town of Te Anau. Once in Te Anau, follow the signs to Te Anau-Mossburn Highway (State Highway 94). Continue on this highway for approximately 20 km. You will arrive at the South West New Zealand World Heritage Area located at 2050 Te Anau-Mossburn Highway, The Key 9679. There is free parking available on-site.

From Invercargill, you can take a bus to Te Anau. Several bus services operate daily, such as the InterCity bus. The journey takes around 2 hours.
