From Taupo, head to the Taupo Bus Interchange located on Tongariro Street. Take the 'Huka Falls' bus service (check the schedule as it may vary). Inform the driver that you want to get off at Orakei Korako. The bus will stop near the entrance to the park. Once you disembark, you will see signs directing you to the entrance of the Orakei Korako Geothermal Park & Cave.

You can book a shuttle service from your accommodation in Taupo directly to Orakei Korako. Many local tour operators offer this service. Make sure to arrange this in advance, as it may require pre-booking. The shuttle will drop you off at the entrance of the park.
