    From Taupo town center, walk to the Taupo Bus Terminal located at 36 Tuwharetoa Street. Take the InterCity bus heading to Rotorua. Inform the driver that you would like to be dropped off at Orakei Korako Road. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you get off the bus, walk approximately 1 kilometer down Orakei Korako Road towards the entrance of the geothermal park.
