    From Tauranga city center, walk to the nearest bus stop and catch the Baybus route 20 towards Rotorua. Make sure to check the timetable for the latest departure times. Stay on the bus for approximately 30-40 minutes. Get off at the Okere Falls stop, which is near the intersection with State Highway 33. From the bus stop, walk north along State Highway 33 for about 5 minutes until you reach 763 State Highway 33, where Kaituna Rafting is located.

  • Bike

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the rental shops in Tauranga. Start by heading east on The Strand and follow the cycle path towards the Mount Maunganui area. Continue on the cycleway until you reach the Tauranga Eastern Link (TEL) cycle path. Follow the TEL path which leads to State Highway 33. Once on State Highway 33, head north for about 15-20 minutes until you reach 763 State Highway 33, Kaituna Rafting.

  • Walking

    For those who enjoy walking, you can make your way to the nearest bus stop and take a bus to Okere Falls as described above. Alternatively, if you are feeling adventurous and are staying close enough, you could walk from Tauranga city center towards the Okere Falls area. This would take approximately 2-3 hours. Head east on The Strand, follow the pathway along the waterfront, and then merge onto State Highway 33 northbound until you reach Kaituna Rafting at 763 State Highway 33.
