If you are located in the central Tauranga area, start by heading towards The Strand. Follow the waterfront path along The Strand, which will take you to the intersection with Willow Street. Turn left onto Willow Street and continue until you reach the intersection with Elizabeth Street. Turn right onto Elizabeth Street, and follow it until you reach the junction with Brookfield Road. From there, turn left onto Brookfield Road. Continue straight until you see the entrance to Waikareao Estuary Walkway on your right.

Public Transport (Bus)
From the Tauranga Bus Interchange, take bus number 2 or 3 towards Brookfield. Ask the driver to let you know when you reach the stop closest to Waikareao Estuary Walkway. The closest stop is usually near Brookfield Road. After disembarking, walk towards Brookfield Road and follow it until you see the entrance to the walkway on your left.

If you have access to a bike, you can start from the central area of Tauranga and head towards The Strand. From The Strand, follow the same route as for walking: turn left onto Willow Street, then right onto Elizabeth Street, and continue until you reach Brookfield Road.
