Walking
If you are in Timaru's city center, start by heading east on Stafford Street towards the intersection with Sefton Street. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout at the intersection with State Highway 1 (SH1). At the roundabout, take the second exit onto SH1 (also known as the Main South Road). After approximately 1 kilometer, you will see signs for the Seaview area. Follow the road as it curves to the left onto York Street. Continue along York Street for about 500 meters. The York Street Gallery of Fine Art will be located on your right at 21 York Street.

From the Timaru Bus Station, board a bus heading towards Seaview. Check the local bus schedule for the most up-to-date routes and times. After about a 15-minute ride, disembark at the nearest stop on York Street. Walk about 200 meters east on York Street, and you will find the York Street Gallery of Fine Art at 21 York Street.

Bicycle
If you choose to ride a bicycle, start at the Timaru city center and head east on Stafford Street. Continue to the roundabout and take the second exit onto SH1. Follow SH1 for about 1 kilometer until you see the signs for Seaview. Turn onto York Street and continue riding for approximately 500 meters. The gallery will be on your right at 21 York Street. Make sure to use bike lanes where available for safety.
