    From Wanaka town center, walk to the nearest bus stop at the corner of Dunmore and Ardmore Streets. Take the Cardrona Valley bus, which operates regularly during the ski season. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the Cardrona Alpine Resort stop. From the bus stop, follow the signs to the resort entrance, which is about a 5-minute walk.

  • Bicycle

    Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Wanaka. Head southeast on Ardmore Street towards the lake, then follow the lakefront path until you reach the Cardrona Valley Road. Turn left onto Cardrona Valley Road and continue cycling for about 20 kilometers. The journey will take approximately 1-1.5 hours, depending on your speed. Look for the signs directing you to Cardrona Alpine Resort as you approach. The resort entrance is clearly marked.

  • Walking

    If you're feeling adventurous and in good shape, you can walk to Cardrona Alpine Resort. Start from Wanaka town center and head southeast on Ardmore Street towards the lake. Follow the lakeside path until you reach Cardrona Valley Road. This walk is roughly 20 kilometers and will take around 4-5 hours. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring plenty of water. Once you reach Cardrona Valley Road, follow it until you see the signs for Cardrona Alpine Resort.
