Walking
If you are in the center of Wanaka, start at the Wanaka i-SITE Visitor Information Centre located at 103 Ardmore Street. Head west on Ardmore Street towards the lakefront. Continue walking along the lake until you reach the Wanaka Tree. From the tree, follow the lakeshore path towards the northwest until you reach the end of the lake. At this point, you will join a road called Wanaka Mount Aspiring Road. Continue walking along this road for approximately 30-40 minutes, keeping an eye out for the Rippon sign on your left. You will arrive at Rippon, located at 246 Wanaka Mount Aspiring Road.

If you prefer biking, rent a bike from one of the local shops in Wanaka. Start at 103 Ardmore Street and head towards the lakefront. Follow the lakeshore path in a northwest direction until you reach the end of the lake. At the end of the lake, turn onto Wanaka Mount Aspiring Road. Cycle along this road for about 15-20 minutes. Keep an eye out for the Rippon sign on your left, where you will find the winery at 246 Wanaka Mount Aspiring Road.
