If you are starting from the centre of Wanaka, head south along Ardmore Street towards Lake Wanaka. Continue walking until you reach the junction with Dungarvon Street. Turn left onto Dungarvon Street and walk until you reach the lake shore. Roys Bay will be directly ahead as you approach the water, approximately a 15-minute walk.
