To reach the Cable Car Museum at 1A Upland Road, Kelburn, take any bus heading towards Kelburn from the Wellington central bus terminal. Look for the buses marked with routes like 21, 22, or 23. Get off at the 'Kelburn' stop. From there, walk up to the intersection of Upland Road and the bus stop. The museum is a short walk uphill on Upland Road.

If you're starting from the Wellington Waterfront, walk towards the Lambton Quay. Continue along Lambton Quay until you reach the intersection with Victoria Street. Turn left onto Victoria Street, then take a right onto The Terrace. Follow The Terrace until you reach the Kelburn cable car station. From the cable car station, it's a short walk up Upland Road to the museum.

Starting from the Wellington central business district, head to the Cable Car station located on Lambton Quay. Purchase a ticket and take the cable car up to Kelburn. Once you arrive, exit the cable car station and walk straight up Upland Road for a few minutes until you reach the Cable Car Museum on your right.
