Bus
Start your journey at the Wellington Railway Station. Take the number 1 bus towards 'Island Bay'. You will need to pay your fare using a Snapper card or cash. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Owhiro Bay' stop. Once you disembark, walk towards the coast on Owhiro Bay Parade. Continue walking until you reach the end of the road, where you will find the entrance to the Red Rocks track.

From the bus stop at Owhiro Bay, walk along Owhiro Bay Parade. As you approach the coast, you will see the Red Rocks Reserve sign. Follow the path along the coastline, which will take you directly to the Pariwhero/Red Rocks area. The walk is scenic and takes about 15-20 minutes, with stunning views of the coastline and the unique red rock formations.
