If you are starting from Wellington Central, head towards the nearest bus stop and catch the number 3 bus towards 'Newtown'. Once on the bus, stay on until you reach the stop at 'Newtown Library'. From there, exit the bus and head south on Riddiford Street until you reach the intersection with Constable Street. Turn right onto Constable Street and continue until you come to the stop sign at the intersection with Manchester Terrace. Turn left onto Manchester Terrace and walk for about 5 minutes. You will find the Truby King Mausoleum located at 21a Manchester Terrace, Melrose.

For those starting from the Wellington Railway Station, take the number 1 bus towards 'Island Bay'. Get off at the 'Melrose' stop. After disembarking, walk up Manchester Terrace, which is about a 10-minute walk. As you walk along Manchester Terrace, keep an eye out for the mausoleum on your right at number 21a.
