From Wellington's city center, head towards Lambton Quay and take the number 1 or 2 bus from the bus stop at the corner of Lambton Quay and Ballance Street towards Kelburn. The bus will take you through the city and up to the Kelburn area. Get off at the 'Kelburn Village' stop. From there, walk up Salamanca Road. The Krupp Gun is located at 34 Salamanca Road, just a short walk from the bus stop. Keep walking up Salamanca Road, and you will see the Krupp Gun on your right side, set in a small park area.

If you prefer to walk from the city center, start at the Wellington Waterfront and make your way up to the Botanical Gardens. Enter the gardens and follow the signs to the Kelburn lookout. Once you reach the lookout, exit the gardens and turn left onto Salamanca Road. Continue walking along Salamanca Road, and the Krupp Gun will be on your left at 34 Salamanca Road.
