Walking
From Mount Victoria, head towards the southern end of the suburb. Begin at the intersection of Elizabeth Street and the Mount Victoria Lookout Road. Walk down the steep path that leads you toward the city. Follow the path until you reach the flat area at the base of the hill. Once you reach the flat area, you will see signs directing you towards Oriental Bay. Continue walking along the waterfront promenade, enjoying the views of the harbor.

Public Transport - Bus
If you prefer not to walk, you can catch a bus from Mount Victoria. Head to the nearest bus stop located on Alexandra Road. Look for buses heading towards the city center, such as the number 2 or number 3 routes. The bus ride will take approximately 10–15 minutes, and you will need to pay a fare, which is around NZD 2.50 to NZD 5.00 depending on the distance. Get off at the stop on Willis Street and walk towards the waterfront, following the signs.
