Walking
If you are starting from the Whanganui city center, head east on Victoria Avenue toward the intersection with Taupo Quay. At the intersection, turn left onto Taupo Quay and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Anzac Parade. Turn right onto Anzac Parade. Continue walking along Anzac Parade for approximately 1.5 kilometers. You will see Riverland Family Park on your left side, just before the bridge.

Public Transport
From the Whanganui i-SITE Visitor Centre, walk to the nearest bus stop located on Victoria Avenue. Catch the 'Whanganui East' bus, which usually runs every 30 minutes. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Anzac Parade. The bus will take you close to Riverland Family Park. Once you get off, walk back along Anzac Parade for a short distance, and the park will be on your right.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, start at the Whanganui Riverfront and follow the riverside path heading east. Continue along the path until you reach the intersection with Anzac Parade. Turn left onto Anzac Parade and cycle for about 1.5 kilometers. Riverland Family Park will be on your left side as you approach the bridge.
