If you are starting from the Whangarei Town Basin, head south along the waterfront path. Continue walking until you reach the end of the path, then turn left onto Port Road. Pocket Park will be on your right after you cross the bridge over the waterway.

From Whangarei's Central Library, exit the library and head east on Bank Street. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout, then take the second exit onto Port Road. Follow Port Road for approximately 1 km, and Pocket Park will be on your left after you pass the bridge.

Catch a bus from the Whangarei Transport Centre heading towards Port Whangārei. Get off at the Port Road stop. From there, walk back along Port Road for about 200 meters. Pocket Park will be on your right.
