If you are in the heart of Uptown Charlotte, start by heading east towards E 3rd St. From popular spots like the Charlotte Convention Center or the Bank of America Corporate Center, walk towards the intersection of E 3rd St and S Tryon St. Once you reach this intersection, turn left onto E 3rd St and continue walking for about 4 blocks. Marshall Park will be on your right at 800 E 3rd St. The park is easily recognizable by its green space and scenic views.

You can take the Charlotte Light Rail if you are further away from the immediate Uptown area. Board the Blue Line at any of the Uptown stations, such as the Trade Street station. Ride towards the I-485/South Blvd direction and disembark at the 3rd Street/Convention Center station. From there, exit the station and walk east down E 3rd St for 2 blocks. Marshall Park will be on your left at 800 E 3rd St. The Light Rail costs approximately $2.20 for a one-way trip.
