From the Charlotte Convention Center, head south on S College St for about 0.3 miles (approximately a 7-minute walk). Turn right onto E Stonewall St and then take a left onto S Tryon St. The museum will be on your left at 401 S Tryon St. The walk is pleasant, with sidewalks and pedestrian crossings.

  • Public Transit - Light Rail

    If you prefer public transportation, you can take the Lynx Light Rail. Board the Blue Line at the 7th Street station heading towards I485/South Blvd. Get off at the 3rd Street/Convention Center stop, which is just one stop away. From there, walk south on S College St for about 0.2 miles (approximately a 5-minute walk). Turn right onto E Stonewall St and then left onto S Tryon St. The museum will be on your left at 401 S Tryon St. Please note that a one-way fare on the light rail is $2.20.
