From the Visitor Center, head southwest on Little River Road for about 3.5 miles until you reach the T-intersection with US-441. Turn left onto US-441 South (Newfound Gap Road). Drive for approximately 7 miles. Afterward, turn right onto the road leading to Tremont (Laurel Creek Road) and follow it for about 7 miles until you reach the parking area for the Walker Sisters Place. The historical site is located a short walk from the parking area.

  • Public Transportation

    If you are using public transportation, take the Smoky Mountain Transit bus service from Gatlinburg to the Sugarlands Visitor Center. Once you arrive at the Visitor Center, follow the directions for car travel as described above.
